Hardships and Changes to the Mission

Some of the problems that my mission experienced were bad soil and lots of people got sick and died with unmarked graves. The mission changed by the mission getting old. Now the mission is not a mission anymore. After the war the Mexican government took the religion out of the missions. Spanish priests and soldiers lost their power. California Indians were allowed to leave the missions, but most stayed and worked at the ranchos. Eventually, Mexico went to war with the United States and the U.S. won.
